noprefix - removes lines starting with "prefix"
Usage:
noprefix "prefix" /path/inputfile /path/outputfile (must not exist)
Written originally to remove lines starting with "#line " from ifupdown
source code extracted from noweb .nw tangled source files, processed by
notangle.
(Note: C_Xperimental is not the author of the programs mentioned above.)
noprefix rapidly removes lines that begin with "prefix" in inputfile and
writes the remaining lines to outputfile unchanged. The outputfile must not
exist, which prevents accidentally overwriting any existing files.
"prefix" does not have to be enclosed in quotes but it is recommended to do
so, as whitespace or special characters can otherwise be omitted or give
unintended results or errors.
Compile from source:
gcc -Wall -Wextra -o noprefix noprefix.c
Copy to a location in path variable, or just run the binary executable in the
current directory by prefixing ./ to the command.
